The Advisory Teaching Service for students enrolled in our Seventh Grade Scholastic Course with Custom Math.
The Advisory Teacher provides support to the Home Teacher in the Seventh Grader's development of independent study skills. As the student’s work in composition and math becomes more complex, the Home Teacher supervises the student’s day-to-day skill development in note taking, test preparation, and the ability to stay on task. The Advisory Teacher reinforces this with a detailed review of subject tests and compositions while encouraging the student to progress beyond his current level of skill mastery. For students moving on to high school or returning to a traditional school setting, transcripts demonstrating academic achievement during these years are crucial.
